Organize With Compassion
Looking after an ailing loved one is overwhelming as the work that needs to be done is never-ending. It’s akin to the feeling of drowning and a functional plan is needed. This is where you’re stuck. You lack the clarity to plan well ahead and you’re afraid to seek help.
Rational Over Fear
Managing health and financial resources for an ailing loved one is a nightmare. The reality of the situation is stressful enough but you have to learn things nobody has prepared you for. Understanding your options, asking family for help, or planning the next 1-2 years are burdens you’re carrying alone.
A Hopeful Future
Your journey requires you to understand how to process grief in a healthy manner. Right now you’re full of pain, regrets, and blame, unable to see past the vicious trap your emotions have bound you under. Learning acceptance and releasing your pain is an important step in finding your purpose.
About Me
Hi!
I have experienced firsthand what it is like to care for Mom as her health declined. Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/dementia in 2017. I was broken down and in denial, that could not be happening to me.
I experienced many different emotions such as Fear, anxiety, depression, and a sense of loss as to what I was going to do concerning my Mom's declining health. The first year I was in complete denial and angry that Mom had not prepared for her long-term care. I accepted the fact that I could not change what Mom and I would experience in the near future.
I have a wonderful connection with my younger sister, the two of us along with several resources were able to be with Mom until she passed in May 2022.
In 2019 when the pandemic hit I began my journey to become a certified Life/Health Coach. I have realized that most of us do not plan for such incidents in our life, it’s like a bolt from the blue and hits in your gut, leaving you breathless.
That’s when I knew that I have to pass on the lessons that I learned during this experience with my mother to people out there who are running from pillar to post, having no clarity and a plan of action to take care of their ailing loved ones in a planned, positive, compassionate and empathetic way. I have great compassion for those who will travel down this road in life. I will support, guide, and be there with you.
